We want to publish your thoughts!
One year ago, we launched the Gradient alongside our first Call for Ideas. Since then, we've published overviews on the state-of-the-art in game theory, hierarchical reinforcement learning, and generalization in natural language processing. For perspectives, we've predicted the rise of transfer learning in natural language processing, pointed out limitations in reinforcement learning and visual deep learning, and argued both for and against open source.
One of our missions is to encourage active discussion and participation in the conversations surrounding the future of AI. Thus, in this second Call for Ideas, we again invite you to share AI trends and perspectives you would like to see discussed, as well as research topics or general subfields for overviews written by researchers in our community. Welcoming ideas, topics, and discussions from people of all backgrounds.
This call for ideas is open until April 30, 2019.
